Employee Resignation Form
As the trust continues to improve our retention of staff and improve trust internal processes a Staff Resignation Form has been launched. The form can be found here, the intention of the form is that staff who have been successful in obtaining another role elsewhere inform their manager and HR using this form. This will enable The Workforce team to correctly capture and process the required information while also allowing employees to securely and confidentially complete an exit questionnaire to help the organisation continue to improve.

ESR Access Issues
The method for access ESR changed nationally on the 23/11/18, this change has meant that a number of PCs across the trust are not allowing access due to Software Issues. Some of these are fairly easily resolved and can be fixed by the following the instructions here. If these do not fix your problem them, the IT helpdesk are aware of the issues and are receiving a high volume of calls at the moment and are working to resolve the issues for all staff as a matter of urgency.

Standards of Personal & Business Conduct Policy Update
The Trust’s Standards of Personal & Business Conduct Policy has been updated to ensure that it meets the requirements of NHS England who issued new guidelines this year on managing conflicts of interest in the NHS.
To assist with the collection of these interests, a SharePoint website has been developed. This can be accessed on the following link and should be used for recording declarations of interests and declarations of gifts, hospitality and sponsorship.

A shorter guidance note has been developed and both this and the updated policy are available on EQMS. Any queries can be directed to the Deputy Corporate Secretary on ext. 4648.
